For those of you already involved in a recreational competitive sport such as cycling, tennis, hockey, soccer basketball, read on please. There is always a need to cross-train to ensure total body health & fitness. Cyclists need mobility training & strength training especially to the core region. Tennis players need some lateral training to get quicker to their cross shots & give stability to their hips. Soccer & Basketball players, all need core stability & leg strength, to ensure they are efficient in their quick movements & to avoid unnecessary injuries. Young players need to improve their Movement Pattern Training (something not often taught in PE) so they can run, stop & change direction using correct muscles & avoiding lower leg injuries. We run ACL Prevention Programs for your team/school (especially important for young girl athletes). We also run Team Conditioning for soccer, basketball or baseball players & coaches. There is so much mis-information about nutrition, it has become very confusing, even to health/fitness professionals. In the coming weeks we will provide up-to-date articles in pdf format so you can become more aware of what is true & what is hype. What foods/fluids do you need pre-exercise or game, or bicycle ride? - what food/fluids do you need during the exercise session & most important, how can you recover effectively after a hard game or event. We will give you the answers, so you can stay fit & healthy throughout your life.

after school and youth programs
After School PE programs are now available. Currently, we are running a "Cross-Fit for Kids" programs at Tanque Verde Elementary School on Tuesdays from 3-4pm. This consists of 30-40 minutes of fun exciting exercise, using med-balls, speed-ladders, hurdles, stability- balls, scooters, jump ropes, leg bands, resistance bands to improve core stability & strength, speed, agility, quickness & coordination. This is followed by a fun game of indoor soccer, cricket, street hockey, so you "finish with a flourish".
